Summary

Overview 

The Email Marketing Manager at Petrosoft is responsible for planning and developing our overall email marketing strategy and helping to manage the CRM and reporting and tracking marketing and sales KPIs. The role will also include target audience research and elements of campaign result analytics, to achieve the best results in future campaigns.  

 

This individual will be working in collaboration with both the sales and marketing teams to develop email campaigns to help reach sales and business goals – and accurate report on those achievements and goals. 

 

A successful Email Marketing Manager will own email marketing campaigns end-to-end, through tasks such as email campaigns creation, A/B testing, writing copy, managing email databases, compiling newsletters, and more.  

Essential Duties

  • Manage and build overall email marketing strategy 
  • Create and maintain email databases for lead generation 
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify our target email audience  
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns. This includes (but is not limited to) developing copy and subject lines, designing email templates, building email lists, and more. 
  • Work with leadership to determine goals; report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts 
  • Test achievement of each campaign and determine email marketing KPIs. 
  • Analyze campaign results and implement improvements to achieve campaign objectives. 
  • Ensure prompt, accurate, and error-free communication  
  • Work with larger marketing team to optimize the user experience and direct user journey 
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling 
  • Develop standard procedures to execute email campaigns; .create process guides 
  • Ensure emails follow industry standards, privacy policies, and best practices. 
  • Ensure that email messages clearly convey brand clarity and consistency. 
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates 
  • Stay abreast with the latest developments in email marketing fields. 
  • Other tasks as required. 

Responsibilities

  • Increase outbound demos and sales through email campaigns and account-based marketing (as available) strategies. 
  • Assist to ensure CRM is updated correctly. 
  • Accurate tracking and reporting.

Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience with email or outbound marketing  
  • Previous work with a SaaS or service company is a plus 
  • Working knowledge of HTML is a plus  
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology. 
  • Ability to track, measure, and report on results of email marketing campaigns to determine ROI.
