The Sales Director is responsible for the strategic leadership of Petrosoft’s sales operations, including designing, implementing, and maintaining strategic sales plans and supervising the sales team to ensure programs are being executed correctly.

The goal of this position is to utilize existing relationships, prospect for new ones and close new leads driven by the marketing team. The Sales Director will generate and submit RFPs and related sales documents, in addition to collaborating with executive leadership to set revenue goals and company strategy. A successful Sales Director will use an understanding of customer trends to assess costs and competition in determining the pricing of Petrosoft’s products when selling to customers.


  • Develop and execute annual unit and gross-profit sales objectives by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Design and implement strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand Petrosoft’s customer base.
  • Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand, and create and modify sales plans to effectively navigate those changes.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports, and present insights and solutions to the executive leadership team.
  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Project sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Research and seek out potential major clients and forge beneficial relationships.
  • Identify emerging markets that could be valuable to the business.
  • Train and supervise a team of sales managers and representatives to ensure a unified sales force.
  • Track sales goals and work with team members who need help reaching those goals.
  • Serve as a representative of the company at conferences, events, trade shows, and other industry functions.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with 2-3 years in a management role.

  • Packing of equipment.



  • Ability and willingness to travel to trade shows.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
